Power Hour is the most well-known endurance drinking game. It is quite easy to play and only requires a shot glass, beer for each person, and a clock to time the game. The object of the game is for players to drink a shot of beer every minute of an entire hour and the one left standing or the one who isn’t making their way to the bathroom is declared the winner. Some say that this isn’t really a game, but a test of manhood because it requires an extreme amount of bladder control and stamina. It is also a good warm up before you head out because it will definitely give you a lift.

Due to its popularity, Power Hour has developed into many sub games that usually just differ in the amount of time the game is played. Some of these games are: The Fritz, 90 minutes of Hell, and 30 Minutes of Chet. One of the problems of the game is the job of time-keeping. A timekeeper is usually assigned; this is someone who is in charge of keeping a watch and yelling “Drink!” every 60 seconds. Unfortunately, after a few beers, this task proves difficult. Seriously, how can a person with alcohol in their system really keep up with the time?

This is why a lot of software companies, big or small, have invented downloadable software that helps players keep track of the time without having to worry about missing anything. These can come in DVD versions or PC versions and usually include the sub games for the convenience of the players. The appearance of this software will be different depending on the company that you buy or download it from.

Power Hour lovers should be grateful that their favorite game has been improved by these companies. Now all they have to worry about is how to be the last person standing.
