Century Club Drinking Game
“Century Club” is a high endurance drinking game that is one of the many variations of the game called “Power Hour”. The object of the game is to be the last person standing. This game requires even more tolerance, bladder control, and stamina than “Power Hour”. The game is easy to play, only requiring a shot glass (one or for each player), beer, a clock, and a time keeper. “Century” is very straightforward because the rules are in your face and easy to understand. It’s better when played with a downloaded program that times the game to the minute. Taking note of the time while intoxicated can be a difficult task to do, that’s why the program comes in handy.
“Century Club” requires players to take a shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes. This is equal to around eight or more cans of beer finished in 1 hour and 40 minutes. It is a more intense game than “Power Hour” which is only for 60 minutes. It may seem like it can’t be done but it shouldn’t be too bad for someone who drinks a lot to begin with.
Funnily, there is actually a variation of “Century Club” and it is even more challenging. It involves drinking 100 beers in 100 hours. It’s like drinking from 8pm on a Wednesday to midnight on a Sunday night. You don’t have to drink every hour; you can rest or sleep as long as you get to finish 4 plus cases of beer at the end of your 100 hours. Believe it or not, this variation can actually be done, it’s the recovery from the game’s effect that’s harder to handle.
