"Kings" is a drinking card-game also known as "Ring of Fire" or "Circle of Death". It’s a popular game that makes even strangers interact closely with each other while playing and drinking. It is the perfect ice-breaker because it involves everyone and gets them drunk and happy. "Kings" requires memorization and observation, which is hard when you’re intoxicated; that’s what makes the game fun.

This game involves a deck of cards, a glass or mug, alcohol, and three or more people. The cards are spread down in a circle on the table. Each player will draw a card from the pile one at a time and each card has a different action that the players must follow. If a player breaks the seal of the card circle, he or she must drink.

The use of certain rules is one of the many variations of this game. One rule is when a full bottle of beer is placed in the middle of the card circle and every time a card is taken, it is balanced on the bottle. The person who knocks off the cards has to drink the beer in one go.

Another similar one is to have a full, unopened beer can and place the drawn cards under the tab of the can. Whoever breaks the seal has to down the beer. Some people also play with the add-on rule of not touching the cards except the one they are getting from the pile.

Even the card’s actions have different variations due to the game’s popularity and the preference of the players. One card can mean that only one guy can drink, but for other people it can mean that they have to make up a dance for everyone to follow. Some people even change the rules of the game and what the cards mean just because they feel like it or they don’t remember the original rules. The best thing about this game is that no matter how many variations it has, it brings fun to old and new friends.
