Tricks: Bartenders Do More Than Serve

There are a lot of tricks you can do when it comes to bartending. Flairing is the most popular and familiar form of bar tricks. The word “flair” first became popular with people who practiced this method in the 1990s. Flair tricks can include juggling, flipping, and performing magic tricks with bottles and glasses.

Bartenders usually use special flair bottles in case their trick goes wrong. These bottles are hard tall bottles that are made of plastic. With flair bottles, you know that your drinks and your bar floor will be okay. Confident bartenders, who are sure of their flairing abilities have no problem with using real bottles for their bar tricks.

Flairing is not as easy as it looks. It is hard to do and takes a lot of practice to master perfectly. Flair tending is a lot of fun for customers because, instead of having to wait impatiently for their drinks, they get to watch their drinks being made in an amazing and entertaining way. Flairing is so popular that there are competitions for it in all parts of the world.

There is also another kind of bar trick simply called a “bar trick”. Unlike flairing, it has a more magical effect. It is when magical and optical illusions are performed in bars by bartenders. Sometimes, a small bet is even offered. The customer is usually challenged to perform tasks such as putting an olive into a wine glass without touching the olive or even rearranging straws into different patterns. In some special cases, bartenders will perform a certain trick such as finishing three beers before the customer finishes three shots.

Bartenders are amazing because they do their jobs of serving and making drinks and still find time to entertain customers and listen to their stories and problems.
