Speed Games: The Fastest Way To Alcohol
Speed games are not about how much alcohol you consume, but how fast you do it. The aim of these games is not to get drunk, but to win bragging rights or wagers of cash prizes for the fastest drinker.
One of the most popular drinking games is called Edward Fortyhands. This game was named after Edward Scissorhands, a character in a movie that had scissors instead of hands. In this game, instead of replacing your hands with scissors, you are going to have two forty ounce bottles of malt liquor in your hands.
All you need in this game are two forty ounce bottles of malt liquor per person, duct tape, and two or more people. Before you start playing, have someone tape a bottle to each hand of the players. Then the game can begin. The rules are as follows: players are not allowed to remove their bottles until they have finished both, not even to go to the bathroom. Obviously, the first one to finish both of their bottles is declared the winner.
Another popular speed game is Case Race. It involves around eight or more players and two teams with the same number of players on each team. Each team will be given a case of beer and a referee is needed to judge the game. With the ref says so, everyone starts drinking and if anyone spills or throws up, it results in a 30 second penalty added to the team’s total time. The team that wins is the first one to be done with all their beers. Every bottle or can must be completely empty, and if the ref says that a can isn’t empty, it must be emptied before the team can be declared the winner.
Some speed games involve the use of beer bongs where the winner is the one who finishes their bong ahead of their opponents. Other speed games include: "Kill Man", "Moose", "Drag Race", and "Beer Mile".
